Email Fraud Alert!
We have just received word
of a new email going around pretending to be from the FSCC (our shared branching
provider). It offers $25 to the account of any member who takes a survey.
The survey asks for your personal information, including any card numbers, pin
numbers, and account numbers. Please beware of these emails. New
ones are being sent out every day.
Remember, we will NEVER ask
you for your social security number, account number, card number, or pin number
through email, or ask you to supply it in any survey we may do. If you
have any questions, or would like to report a fraudulent email, please call Todd
at either (360)533-9990 or 1-800-533-8396 extension 122.
We have received another email fraud alert! This time it has come from
VISA. Emails are being sent out claiming to be from VISA, urging members
to activate their cards for Verified by VISA. These emails are fake.
