66th Annual Membership Meeting

What is a credit union membership meeting?

The annual Membership Meeting is one of the primary differences between a bank and a credit union. You are a member of the credit union - not a customer. As a member, your savings account or “share” account means that you are a member/owner. As such, members control the credit union by means of an elected Board of Directors.

At the annual Membership Meeting, your Board of Directors are elected, the Treasurer reports on the financial state of the credit union and your Chairman of the Board and the President/CEO present the plan for the upcoming year.

Every year we hold the Membership Meeting in a different area of our membership. Last year, we were in South Bend and this year we will be in Ocean Park.

The event is catered, there is a silent auction which raises money for our Relay For Life team and door prize drawings. Kids are welcome and we hope you can make it.
