Your 67th Annual Membership Meeting

Great NorthWest Federal Credit Union’s 67th Annual Membership Meeting will be held at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen on March 21st.  All members are encouraged to attend to see their credit union democracy in action.

What is an Annual Meeting?

Credit Union’s are not-for-profit financial cooperatives. Unlike banks, credit unions do not have shareholders who profit. Our Board Of Directors is made up of credit union members who are voted on at our Annual Membership Meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to meet your Board of Directors and vote for any open positions.

How many members serve on our Board?

Great NorthWest FCU has 6 current Board Members and one open position.

What do Board Members do?

Board Members play a vital role to the success of any credit union. Board Members must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the function of the credit union.  They attend monthly Board meetings and approve loan promotions, staff limits, personnel policies, lending policies and much more at each meeting. Board Members also participate in our Strategic Planning and help guide the direction of the credit union. If you are interested in becoming a Board volunteer, please contact President/CEO, Doug Page at 360-533-9990 x119.
