There is no planned downtime for card access while the systems are converted. We encourage you to plan ahead and have an alternate form of payment available during this time just in case.

No, your Bill Pay information will not transfer. After the merger, you will need to re-register for Bill Pay and re-establish your payees and scheduled payments. 

Before the merger weekend, we strongly recommend taking screenshots or making a list of your current payees, payment amounts and scheduled payment dates. Bills scheduled through October 30th will be paid. Bills scheduled from 10/31 onward will not be paid. 

As a thank you for re-registering - Great NorthWest FCU will pay you $50.00 when you re-activate your Bill Pay during the month of November. Funds will be deposited to your linked checking account in December.

Yes. Starting November 2nd, Great NorthWest FCU branches will be available for SVCU members to access. SVCU Branch in Port Angeles will also be available for GNWFCU members. See locations.

No, since your card number is not changing, automatic and recurring payments connected to your debit and/or credit card will continue as normal.

Yes. Your card(s) will continue to work and your card number(s) will not change. Because the card number is not changing, you will not need to update any payments currently setup using your card.

Yes. SVCU will remain open and continue serving members with the same staff.

Credit unions are highly regulated to protect members. Mergers require oversight and transparent democratic approval to ensure they are beneficial to members. The National Credit Union Association (NCUA) approved the merger on March 31, 2026.
